Veterinarian
Dr. Nadia Ouellette is a 2009 graduate from the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI. She considers the maritimes home but is a proud military brat and while growing up has lived in Germany and Turkey.
Dr Ouellette has been in Ottawa for 10 years and has experience working in general practice, ER/ICU and palliative care. She’s been locuming at a variety of animal hospitals in the Ottawa, Orleans and Rockland area and is looking forward to putting down roots at Crown Pointe. Her professional interests are feline medicine, internal medicine and dermatology. She is a member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, Ontario Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). She is certified as a “Cat Friendly Veterinarian” by the AAFP.
She shares her home with a senior but still energetic Jack Russell terrier and 3 very affectionate cats. Outside of work Dr. Ouellette loves to travel and has visited a variety of countries. She’s also passionate about pollinators and native plant gardening. She holds a pollinator stewardship certificate from Pollinator Partnership and volunteers with her local community association’s environmental group and a local wildflower seed library. Ask and she can probably acquire native plant seeds for you!
